   We need to go to the magnifying glass in the right-hand corner

   We can "Start a Group" here, but we can also start a search for people.

   I'm going to search for a group and then say "Done"

   .

   It brings up people with the username, or it brings up the group as well. Now we have our group, and there are only 38 people out of 50 indicated on the right which means we can fit in this group.

   If we tap on that and then say "Join Group" we are now part of this particular group

   .

   If that number said 50 out of 50, then we can't join the group because there's no room.

I am searching for a Kik group on iPhone, but I cannot. Why I can't search for or join groups in Kik?

I can only search for a user name. I can make groups, but I cannot find them. Why I can't search for groups in Kik?

A recent update has removed the public group feature from Kik. You may still be able to search for groups from older versions, but as people update their applications, this feature will be completely gone. You can only join groups now by scanning a group Kik code (for example, from a friend, on a web site, or in the streets) or by being added to the group by another user. To scan a Kik code, swipe your finger down from the main chat list page. This will open up the scanner. Point you rear-facing camera to scan a code.

I am unable to post in a group chat in Kik?

I have a Kik group made up of my personal friends. I added a friend and he was able to post comments before, now he can see the conversation but can't post in it. I am admin and I have not blocked him. I have tried: Removing the person and re-adding him. He has reinstalled Kik on his phone. I think it was caused by: I am an administrator, and I have not blocked him. If a group member blocked him could that cause it.
