Download and install Whatsapp for windows phone

My WhatsApp app will not open as an update is required. I'm unable to update WhatsApp on Lumia 520?

I'm unable to find how to update WhatsApp on my Lumia 520. When I open the app it says:- 'this version of WhatsApp has expired. Please go to Windows phone store and update it'. Below this is a link - 'update WhatsApp'. When I click on this it goes to a WhatsApp overview page, not an update download page. There are two options given, one says 'view' and the other 'share', no indication no where to go for the download.. I've searched the web and there is no update I can find for the 520. I'm sure I've missed something simple.. I would be grateful for your help here.. Regards. . It doesn't help me with my Lumia 520. I can see what to do but not so on my phone.

Did you put in the correct email address and password? Make sure that you are using the right log in as the app also allows logging in with your phone number. Because your details are so vague it is hard to help you will your issue. Please visit the Facebook Help Center to troubleshoot your issue with them. You may have to do a request ticket for further help. If your account was hacked or you were banned because of an illegal post, you will be shut down for a time or eternity with that account. Check the email associated with your Facebook account to make sure there is no message there regarding a ban. People have been blocked for sharing too many posts from the same website because it gets flagged as spam and if any image on your profile gets reported, you can be banned, even if it was an innocent photo of a bird.
