Turn on and Off the Samsung Galaxy S5

Is there another way to turn the S5 on without using the damaged power button?

The power button has collapsed into the phone and no longer works. Removing the battery, replacing it, putting the cover back on, depressing and holding the volume down button, and plugging the phone cord into the computer does not cause the phone to boot up, or turn on. the charging display is activated, but the phone does not come on. I hold the vol-down button until the charging display times out and the screen goes blank. any other suggestions?
