Aloe Vera gel would not cause hair growth unless there was already hair growth there. It is a wonderful anti-bacterial item to use and many use it daily to keep away acne and do not report excessive hair growth. For men, it is recommended as a beard growth serum but that is mainly once again for the anti-bacterial properties to keep pores and hair follicles from clogging up. In the summer, I use aloe vera gel for after sun exposure almost on a daily basis and I have never noticed excessive hair growth. In fact, the opposite has happened in that the gel softens my hair. Keep in mind that aloe vera gel works best cold but if you are cutting it with coconut oil you could heat it to room temp. Good luck on growing your massage therapy business and using organic products is an excellent way to begin!
