To start with, unlock the phone using the fingerprint lock

Go straight to the Facebook application, The icon for it looks like a blue square with a white letter "F" in it

Let's give it a tap, and we'll end up on the News Feed.

In order to access events, we need to go to the main Facebook menu
.
Tap on the "More" option, which is located on the bottom right-hand side of the phone to access the menu.

If we look at the second section of the menu which is called "FAVORITES", we want the second option, "Events"

Tap on "Events", and they will appear.

If there are some events we would like our friends to join, tap on the event
.
We could pick the jazz festival.

After accessing the main page for the event, we should tap on "Invite", which is on the top menu bar next to "Post" and "More"
.
It has a little envelope icon. The pop-up menu will appear which gives us the option to share an event or choose friends.

Tap on "Choose Friends", and a list of friends will appear that might be interested in going to the event

Let's pick some friends
.
Just tap on the little circle next to the profile picture and name, and some check marks will appear. Scroll down a little bit to see which friends might be interested in going. We've picked six friends.

To double-check the amount of friends we've picked, we can see the little number next to a friend's profile picture in the top left-hand corner of the screen

Tap on the number, and we will see the full list of people we've picked.

To send the invitation for the event, we should tap on "Send", which is located in the top right-hand corner of the screen

We will receive their answer in Notifications, which is located in the bottom menu bar under the little globe

We just sent invitations for events to friends on Facebook.

To post the event on our Timeline, we need to open the event, and tap "Invite"

Tap on "Share Event"

We can change it to make it only available for friends. In that case, tap on the globe.

We can write text or leave it the way it is

To share the event on our Timeline so that our other friends can see it, tap on "Post" located at the top right-hand corner of the screen. It might take a second or two to load.
