Once on the Lock screen, simply swipe or slide across to access the Passcode area
.
4
Alternatively, press and hold a thumb or fingerprint to the Home button which will enable our fingerprint to unlock the phone
.

Once we have done this, we are looking for the Settings icon
.
The Settings icon is a silver or gray box with a series of gears inside of it. This icon will be labeled with the word "Settings".
6
Press down the Settings icon one time
.
This will open up the Settings panel, which will be indicated by the word "Settings" at the very top of the panel.
7
Scroll down and look for a gear-shaped icon, labeled with the word "General"
.
8
Give a single press on "General", which will take us into the "General" tab
.
9
Now, we are looking for "Accessibility"
.
10
Once "Accessibility" is found, we will press down on it one time to open the Accessibility panel
.
The word "Accessibility" will be at the very top of the screen.
11
We will now be looking in the "VISION" section
.
12
Here we will find the option to "Invert Colors"
.
Once we press "Invert Colors", black will become white, and white will become black. This will completely change the layout and overall appearance of our phone.
13
Let's give a press to the white circle located to the right of the "Invert Colors" options
.
14
Now, we will note that the main color has switched to black
.
We will also note that the slider behind the now black circle will be now be purple. The blue "General" button has switched to orange.
15
Go back by pressing "General" in the top left-hand corner
.
16
Then we are going to tap on "Settings" also in the top left-hand corner to go back another time
.
17
In the main Setting menu, we will see that all of our icons have completely changed
.
18
Now, press the Home button one time to go back to the Home screen
.
19
On the Home screen, we will note that everything on the screen has changed
.
This includes all of our application icons and every other function on the phone.
20
In order to disable the inverted colors, we will need to tap back on "Settings"
.
This icon has the same image as before; however, it is now black and gray.
21
Once we have tapped back on Settings, we are going to scroll down and tap on "General"
.
22
Then we are going to tap on "Accessibility"
.
23
Lastly, we will tap on the black circle located to the right of the "Invert Colors" option
.
24
Now, we have disabled "Invert Colors", and the phone will switch back to its original colors
.
25
We can now go back by pressing "General" in the top left-hand corner of the screen
.
26
Then we will tap on "Settings", also located in the top left-hand corner of the screen
.
27
Now, we will see that our icons are back to their normal colors
.

One press on the Home button will take us back to the Home screen and allow us to begin using our phone as normal
