Edited by Thor, Crystal, Eng, Alma
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how to install the Google Search Toolbar into your browser when using Internet Explorer 11.
- 2The first option is Set Google as default search in Internet Explorer and notify me of changes. I'm going to deselect that. The second option is to Set my homepage to Google, I'm going to deselect that as well. It also mentions that Usage statistics sent by the Toolbar are not associated with your personal information and can be disabled through the Toolbar Options. Even though they cannot identify you personally, you will still be sending the results of your searches directly to Google. You can disable this if you'd like. Click Accept and Download.Advertisement
- 5Now it is installing Google Toolbar. The Toolbar is very useful, it allows you to search for things instantly from whatever web page you're currently on, rather than having to return directly to Google.com or to any other search engine. Some search engines are better than others and you need to find one that works best for you.

I think it was caused by: I thought it might be because I chose not to send details of my searches to Google (first installation) however with the second installation I did not but still the same result.
