Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to install and set up the 'Viber' application on the Microsoft Lumia 535.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the 'Power' button located on the right-hand side of the phone

   Once the phone is activated we will see the lock screen.

   Swipe the lock screen up and it will take us to the home screen

   On the home screen, we need to find the 'Store' tile

   .

   It has a blue background and it alternates between images and white text. Every phone is different since everyone looks at different applications, but, we will see a white bag with a window in the middle. If the 'Store' tile is not pinned to the home screen, swipe left to find it in the 'Apps' menu. Once we've located the 'Store' tile, we can press down on it to enter the application. Once the application is loaded we will need to search for the 'Viber' application.

   To search for 'Viber', tap on the magnifying glass at the bottom, in the middle

   This is the search icon. This will bring up the search bar.

   Let's type in 'Viber'

   .

   Either press down on 'Viber' in the drop down list or press the 'Enter' button. The 'Enter' button is the big white box with a black arrow in it in the bottom right corner of the screen. This will show a list of applications.

   Tap on 'Viber' at the top

   It has the Viber icon which is a white phone inside of a speech bubble with a purple background. This will take us into the 'Viber' application where we have the option to download and install it.

   Tap on 'install' to download and install the application

   .

   We have already installed the app on our phone to save time, so ours says 'view'. Once it has downloaded on your phone, it will change to 'view'.

   When the 'Viber' application is done installing, tap on 'View' to see the app in the 'Apps' menu

   Find 'Viber' and tap on it

   .

   In the 'Apps' menu, we will see 'Viber' and 'new' underneath of it in small green letters. In this example, it only says 'Viber' because it has already been installed. Tapping on it will open the application. A screen will open and we just need to press the white arrow at the bottom to continue. This screen does not show in this tutorial since it has already been opened.

    Choose your country code and enter your phone number

    Press down on the 'Country code' box and scroll through to find your country with the code next to it. In this example, it is 'Georgia +995'. Press down on the text box under it and a keypad will appear to enter the phone number. Press down on the white arrow at the bottom to continue.

    Viber will need to verify your phone number

    A pop-up will appear that reads 'Is this your correct number?' Check the phone number to make sure it is correct. An SMS with your access code will be sent to that number. Tap on 'OK' if the number is correct.

    Viber will ask for permission to send 'Push Notifications'

    The next window will say 'Viber setup, an access code was sent to you by SMS, enter it below and press Continue'

    To see the message with the access code, swipe down and we will see the message with the code

    We won't even need to open the message since it shows in the preview. Swipe back up from bottom to top to go back to the Viber application.

    Enter the 'Access code'

    Press down on the grey text box and when the keypad appears, enter the code. Viber will automatically move on to the next step when the correct code is entered.

    Now we can enter our full name by pressing on the text box

    When the keyboard appears, write in the name. Press the white check mark in the circle at the bottom to continue.

    Now we have entered the application

    We can tap on the arrows on the bottom to scroll through and see what's new with Viber. We can have a look at those and then we are ready to use the application.

Unfortunately, Viber on Windows Phones does not support video chat at the moment. It works on Android and iOS devices. We can only hope that an update will be released soon.
