   In some cases, you may be asked for a password

   In other cases, where you've chosen to remember the password on your device, you may not be asked to use a password. Initially you may have a fingerprint scanner set up allowing you to use the fingerprint instead of entering a password.     Tap on an application

    In this video, Match is tapped. It is a dating application with a blue "M" icon. This will open up the Match installation window. You may see that instead of the "GET" option, you would have a cloud with an arrow. This means that you have previously installed this application, and at some point you have deleted it.

    Most of the time, if you have a password set up on your device, you will not be asked for a password when downloading applications that have been previously deleted
