Flip the camera over to the rear side

The screen should rest on a flat surface.

Next, open the battery compartment cover by pushing and turning the cover release lever located at the bottom of the camera

Once the battery compartment cover is open, take the battery
.
Notice that there is a tab that sticks out of one end of the battery.

Make sure that the tab goes into the outermost corner of the camera

The battery logo should be positioned towards the screen.

Insert the battery by pushing it into the battery compartment

You will hear a soft clicking sound when the battery is seated.

To remove the battery, push a little tab on the right side of the battery in the battery compartment

The battery will pop out.

Push the battery back in
