You are watching VisiHow. Today, we are going to show you how to download and install the PayPal application from the Google Play Store. To get started, you need to push the lock button on your phone one time.

   I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini

   My lock button is on the side. Your button may be in a different spot depending on the phone model that you are using. Then we are going to swipe across the screen.

   You may have a password, or other security method set up which you use

   In my case, because I am doing tutorials, I am using just the simple function of a swipe. The next thing we are going to want to do is tap on the Google Play Store icon which should be on your home screen on a stock Samsung Galaxy S5 phone.

   Alternatively, it may be under the applications folder, which is this little checkerboard icon at the bottom

   Tap that one time.

   You may scroll through a couple Windows, but you'll see the same icon here, this white briefcase with the colored triangle

   That's going to bring up the Google Play Store for us

   You'll notice that I have the American Google Play Store set up on this phone

   And we do have another tutorial where we'll show you how to do that. But for now, what we're interested in is PayPal. So we'll tap up here in the search area.

   And then, you can simply type in PayPal

   I already have PayPal typed in, but for the sake of our demonstration, I'll go ahead and type it in again.

   Tap on PayPal one time

   You'll see the PayPal application here. Again, tap on that one time.

   And, I've already installed the application so that you don't need to sit through a download, and hear my diatribe about how I feel about the download, the application, or any of the other reviews that people may or may not have given it, in a positive or negative way

   So once your download finishes, go ahead and tap the open button.

    Note that there should also be an icon on your phone once you download it

    So as you can see, I am logged into my PayPal account

    There's a picture of me, a beautiful picture, isn't it? And that's basically all you do to get the PayPal application installed and set up on your phone.
