Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to install the PlayStation Portable emulator. In our previous tutorial, we showed you how to download the PPSSPP emulator. Now. we're going to show you how to install it. The PPSSPP emulator comes in a ZIP archive.

Steps

    Obtain some extracting tool. In this case we are going to use WinRAR. You can download WinRAR by clicking http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm this link.

    Right-click the archive.

    Then, click "Extract Here". Wait for the extraction process to finish. You will get the directory of the emulator.

    Double-click the "PPSSPP" folder to open it. You'll see that it has two executable files.

    If you are using Windows x86 (a 32-bit OS), then you should click "PPSSPPWindows.exe".

    If you're using a 64-bit operating system, then click "PPSSPPWindows64.exe".

    Now, move the folder with the emulator to another place by double-clicking "This PC" first.

    Then, go to your desired disc and directory. Let's click "Local Disc (C:)".

    Click "Program Files".

    Then drag and drop the PPSSPP folder into your desired directory.

    Click "Continue". The folder will be moved to the new directory.

    If you want to place a shortcut onto the desktop, double-click the "PPSSPP" folder.

    Then, click and hold the executable file for which you need to create the shortcut.

    Then, move the file to the desktop without releasing the mouse button.

    Press and hold "Alt" on the keyboard. "Create link in Desktop" will be shown.

    Then, let go of the mouse button. The shortcut will be created.
