You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show how to install a motorized controller onto the Konova K2 slider.
Steps
1
To begin, take the rubberized track
.
There is the wrong way to install the rubberized track. The incorrect way is to position the brown part of the rubberized track pointing upwards and the mount pointing downwards.
2
To install the rubberized track the correct way, position the black part of the track pointing upwards
.
The top of the belt block should have the rubberized track.
3
Slide the belt block into the K2 Slider
.
4
Tighten the belt block by turning the red screw clockwise
.
5
On the other side, slide the belt block onto the slider
.
Leave that side a little bit loose because you need a little bit of slack to install the motor.
6
Thread the track into the motor around the big pulley and through the inner sides of the small pulleys
.
7
Now, slide the timing pulley into the curve of the mount
.
There are also two indentations to hold the motor in place.
8
Then, tighten the red wheel by turning it clockwise
.
9
Next, pull the slack of the rubberized track out from both sides of the motor and tighten the left belt block
.
10
Take another piece, which is the control box
.
It will be mounted on the back side of the slider.
11
To get acquainted with the control box, locate the power-in port
.
12
Locate a silver-colored line-out port for the actual controller that you will be using
.
13
On the opposite end, locate a limiter
.
14
Then, locate a camera function to snap the shutter
.
15
Turn the device around again
.
The smaller power jack is located between the power-in and line-out ports. The power goes to the motor.
16
Take the cord that you will be using
.
It has a limiter on one end. The limiter is currently in the right hand in the video.
17
On the other end, there is a power jack
.
It is in the left hand in the video.
18
Plug both ends into the motor
.
19
On the control box, plug the small power connector into the small power port
.
This port is located between the power-in and line-out ports.
20
Then, plug in the connector for the limiter on the other side of the control box
.
21
Find a thread on the opposite side of the slider
.
It is like the thread on the front that holds the belt box.
22
Secure the control box in place by turning its red knob
.
23
Prepare two more items that you have to plug into the control box
.
There is a power supply, which takes AA batteries that come in a Konova pack. The power supply has a power jack on the top.
24
Run a cord from the power supply to the control box
.
25
Prepare the controller that you will use to move the motor
.
It has a cord that plugs into the control box as well.
26
You need to plug the cord into the silver port located at the bottom on the right of the controller
.
27
Then, plug the opposite end into the silver-colored line-out port of the control box
.
28
Make sure that the break is off on the back side of the slider
.
The break is the red knob on the back side. Make sure that it is loose.
29
Now you can turn on the control box by pressing the orange power button
.
30
Press the "ESCAPE" button on the lower-right side of the controller to get to the main menu
.
31
In the main menu, choose "LIVE MOTION" by moving down with the joystick and pushing it to select the item
.
32
Then, select "AUTO MOVE" in the same manner
.
33
In this menu, you can set the speed ("SP."), which is currently at 100 %
.
Use the joystick to move between items and change values. Push the joystick to select a item.
34
Now, select "<LEFT<ENT>RIGHT>" by pushing the joystick
.
35
If everything is connected correctly, the slider will move to the left when you move the joystick left
.
That was how to set up the motorized slider for the Konova K2 slider. If you have any questions or comments, please leave them in the space below. Thanks for watching VisiHow!
