Hi, you're watching VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how to install the Instagram application on your Android mobile phone. It doesn't matter what type of mobile phone you have, as long as it's running the Android operating system and that operating system version is up to date enough to manage and handle the installation of Instagram.

   We're going to tap on our lock button

   Depending on your phone, your lock button may be in a couple different places. My thumb is on my lock button, so I'll press it.

   We're going to swipe to open the phone

   We're going to tap on the Google Play Store

   If, however, you've deleted the Google Play Store icon from your home screen, tap on Apps.

   Scroll around through there and you will find your Google Play Store icon

   Tap on that.

   Click on search, then type Instagram

   As you're typing, it will pop up in the drop down menu under the search bar.

   Instagram needs to access a few things

   .

   If you don't give it access you can't install it. That simple. We have a 7.5mb download, that is by far the smallest download of anything that we've had yet and it should be a very quick install.

   It has been successfully installed, now we can just go ahead and tap on open

   We can either sign up or we can log in

   .

   We can sign up or login with Facebook, or we can use our Gmail, or you can tap on login and we can use our Username and password which will let you login. Any of those options will let you log in to this program and once you're logged in you'll be able to use it just like you normally would. Take pictures, edit, etc.
