Hello and welcome to VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how to install the Google Keep application on your Samsung Galaxy S5 or S5 Mini. Push the power button or the lock button on the right-hand side of your phone to get started.

   This will take you to a locked screen

   .

   Swipe across the locked screen to open it, or enter in your pattern, PIN code, or swipe a fingerprint, depending on how you have your locked screen set up.

   The next thing you are going to want to do is go to the Google Play Store icon

   .

   That is a white briefcase with a multicolored triangle. When you tap on the Google Play Store icon, it will open the Play Store.

   If you do not have this icon, that's not a problem

   .

   All you have to do is go to the bottom right-hand side of your phone, look for the series of white boxes arranged in a checkerboard pattern that is the Google Apps icon. One tap on the apps button.

   This will take us to the applications folder

   .

   The applications folder is where everything on your system is listed for you to view. You should be able to find the Google Play Store icon that looks the same, again, that's a white briefcase icon with a multicolored triangle in it. When you find it, give it a tap.

   One tap should open up the Google Play Store

   Once you are on the Google Play Store, we are going to search for Google Keep

   So let's do that. We should be able to bring up Google Keep immediately. Here we go, Google Keep.

   And now we have Google Keep at the top of the list

   Do make sure you are not installing something else from someone else

   .

   You want Google Keep. Officially from Google with the little blue icon indicating it is from Google. Give it a tap.

   It's going to open you up to the Google Keep page

   .

   Once you are here, you can simply tap install to get it installed. As you can see, I've already installed the application. This is to help save you from sitting through a lengthy download on my part, or waiting for an application to install and register on my device. However, go ahead and install your own now and when you are done, when it's installed, what we are going to do next is go ahead and tap on open.

    You should also have an icon on your desktop that you can tap, but for our purposes, we are going to tap open

    Once we tap open, Google Keep is going to open.
