You are watching VisiHow. Today we are going to show you how you can install apps to kids mode from the Google Play Store on your Samsung Galaxy S5 or S5 Mini. The first thing we need to do is give a single press on the locked screen button on the right side of the phone.

- 1That is depending on how you have your lock pattern or method set up.Enter your passcode, enter your PIN, your secret words, swipe your fingerprint, or just swipe across the screen.
- 2Unlike our other tutorials with kids mode, we are not actually going to press the kids mode icon. Instead, we are going to tap the Google Play Store icon so that we can download some great games for our child.This will bring you to the home screen.
- 3It's going to open up the apps folder.Alternatively, if you don't have this icon on your desktop, go down to the apps button on the right-hand side, give it a single press.
- 4In my case, it is here. A little Pink Floyd-ish triangle on it. Give it a tap.You're going to have to scroll through until you find that white Google Play briefcase.
- 5The Google Play Store will load up. You will have a selection at the top: Apps, games, movies, music, etc, etc.It's going to open up the Google Play Store.
- 6We are looking for games, that why we came here.
- 7Now what you are going to look for, if you are like me, anyway, you are going to be looking at top free. Top free is going to bring up some games that your child might like to play.Games for you child.
- 8Let's tap it.Let's just assume that your child would like to play Candy Crush Soda Saga, and that you are the sort of parent that is going to let them play that and get addicted to it.
- 9I've already installed it for you so you don't have to wait for the download, you can simply tap open.Now, we have Candy Crush Soda Saga.
- 10Instead, we are going to switch back to kids mode. So once it's installed and you have finished the installation process, go down to the bottom of your phone and press that black oval button for you home screen. It might be a different color, depending on your model of phone, but it is always an oval shape. Give it a press.However, in this case, we are not going to be opening the application.
- 11Now, as I mentioned earlier, we've got this yellow icon with a green crocodile in it.It's going to take us back to the home screen.
- 12Give it a single press.If you don't have that, back to the apps button.
- 13Scroll around until you find the crocodile. Here he is on my phone. Let's give him a press.It opens it up.
- 14It's a little parent and child. Give it a little tap.Once you've pressed the crocodile, we are going to now tap on the parent's control icon.
- 15In my case, it is 1234, because I like very complex and hard to guess passcodes.Open it up, enter in the pass-code you selected earlier.
- 16Tap on applications.Now we are going to go down to applications.

- 20Scroll down, continue scrolling down until we get to the C. The Candy Crush, let's find that. Here we go, Candy Crush Saga. Tap it. - 21Let's test it. Press the home button at the bottom of your screen.Now, it will take a minute, and Candy Crush Soda has been loaded up.
- 22The second little present there is Candy Crush, installed for my child.Scroll back up to the top.

Uninstall Kids Mode.
