Insert and Remove a Memory Card From the Canon Legria
Edited by Grimm, Crystal, Eng
Hi you're watching VisiHow and today we're going to show you how to get your SD memory card installed in the Canon Vixia HFR 500 Series, or the Canon Legria HFR 500 Series. This is an HD handheld camcorder. It also works for the HFR 50 and 52 series that are basically the same device, the only difference is that the 50 and 52 series has a built in memory card. The HFR 500 series does not have a built in memory card. The device I'm using today is the Legria HFR506. It is simply the European version of the Vixia HFR500. It records in PAL instead of NTSC, which is not an issue since everything we do is going to be digital.

- 3If you look on the packaging for this card it says it has up to 90MB/s rate, 45MB/s write, and it is designed for HD videos. Class 10 is what records quickly. This camera records at about 32MB/s, so it's very important that our card exceeds that at 45MB/s write time.We have a Kingston 32GB Class 10 SD card.
