In order to proceed, you will need to unlock the device and go to the home screen

Once you're on the home screen, locate and tap the applications folder in the lower right-hand corner

Find and tap the S Note application icon

The icon is a red box with an "S" inside of it.

To open an S Note document, tap the plus icon in the top right-hand corner
.
This will create a new template. Tapping the plus icon once will open the weekly planner template. To insert a pie chart, look at the bottom of the page. You will find several different options. The furthest to the left is the insert button.

Tap the insert button once

This will open a pop-up menu.

Tap the fourth option in the menu, "Easy chart"

Tap on "Pie"
.
Tapping on it will open the tutorial on how to create a pie chart, reading: "To create a pie chart, draw dividers on the circle and tap the done button when you are finished. To edit values, drag a sector divider to where you want it. You can also edit values by writing on the chart. To deselect a sector, tap anywhere except on that sector". There will be more instructions at the bottom of the page.

To continue, tap on "OK" once

We can also insert pie charts with the S Pen. In this video, the S Pen is already out of its casing.

Take the S Pen out
.
To find the S Pen, locate the notch behind the screen in the top right-hand corner. Simply pull the S Pen out of the notch, and you will hear a click. Then, the S pen can be easily removed.

Let's draw dividers on the pie chart to create its first part
.
For that, simply drag the S pen over the chart to form a triangle-like sector. We will create a portion of the pie chart.

Now we can continue by drawing lines and making more sectors

In this video, several will be drawn. We will create a pie chart with five different categories.

You can change the categories according to what you want your pie chart to be

You will see the "Dataset 1" with percentages on the right. You will also view this at the bottom of the screen.

If you would like to add the second dataset, simply tap on "Add dataset" once

In the top-left corner, we can change the language by tapping on the button

If you're content about the pie chart you have made, tap on "Done" in the top right-hand corner

A pop-up window will give you the options to insert it with dataset names or without dataset names.

Tap on either "Insert with dataset names" or "Insert without dataset names

The chart will be inserted into the template document in the S Note application.

You can change the size of the chart by tapping the chart and dragging it
