.
2
Once on the home screen, locate the applications folder in the lower right-hand corner and tap it once
.
3
Find and tap the S Note application icon
.
The icon has a red box and an "S" inside of it. You will see your recent notes and documents that you have saved.
4
To create a new document, tap on the plus icon in the upper-right corner
.
This will create a template of the weekly planner.
5
To insert a line chart, tap the "Insert" icon
.
The icon is the farthest to the left at the bottom of the page. The "Insert" menu will be shown.
6
Tap on the fourth option, "Easy chart"
.
7
We'll be taken to the demonstration on how to create a line chart, which will read: "To create a line chart, draw a line or tap anywhere on the chart. To edit a value, tap a point on the chart and drag it upwards or downwards. You can also edit values by writing on the chart. To deselect a point, tap anywhere except on that point."
8
If you do not want to see the message again, you can simply check the "Do not show again" box
.
This tutorial will never pop-up again when you want to make a line graph.
9
Now, because this is the S Note application, you can also use the S Pen besides your finger.
10
To locate the S Pen, find a notch in the top right-hand corner behind the screen
.
This is where the S Pen is housed.
11
Simply take out the S Pen by pulling it by the small end
.
12
Let's draw a line similar to the line drawn for us
.
We tap on the screen and drag the S Pen to create data points. In this video, we'll have dataset points from 29 to 103.
13
If you would like to change any of these numbers, you simply tap on it with the S Pen until it's highlighted
.
Then, two other options will appear where you can edit or delete this point.
14
You can also move the point up or down while it's highlighted by dragging it with the S Pen
.
On the right side of the screen, you will find the data plot points under "Dataset 1". In this video, all of the items (from 1 to 7) are listed.
15
To add a data point, tap on "Add dataset" at the top of the page
.
16
If you would like to change the language, tap on the "Language" button in the top-left corner
.
You can change it to your preference.
17
If you are content with your linear graph, simply tap on "Done" in the top-right corner
.
18
Tap on "Insert with dataset names" or "Insert without dataset names"
.
Tap on whichever you want. A new pop-up window will read: "This chart will be resized to fit and then inserted into an S Note page".
19
The line chart will be inserted into the template you have chosen.
20
You can resize the line chart to your personal preference
21
Now, you'll have your line chart on your template in the S Note application.
22
Once done, tap on the "Save" checkmark in the top-right corner
.
This will save the note.
