You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to insert a footnote in Corel WordPerfect.
Let's go ahead and double-click the icon to open Corel WordPerfect. Wait for it to load.
To insert a footnote for the lower part of the page, click "Insert".
Then, click "Footnote/Endnote...". You will be able to click either "Footnote" or "Endnote".
In this case, let's go ahead and click "Footnote".
Then, you need to select the number. The number that you select will be displayed on your page. For example, let's leave it at "1".
Then, click "Create". As you can see, the number "1" has appeared. You will also see a small line.
You can type anything. Let's type "Anything".
If you want to add another footnote, you can repeat the same steps. However, if you leave the cursor in your present footnote and then click "Insert", you won't be able to insert any footnotes. They will be grayed out.
Let's click anywhere else on the page.
Then, click "Footnote/Endnote...". Then, since you have already created the footnote number "1", you won't be able to create the same one.
However, let's choose number "2".
Then, click "Create". Number "2" will appear under number "1".
Then, click "Footnote/Endnote..."
Make the "Endnote" number "1".
Click "Create". The "Endnote" will be displayed. In this case, there had been three symbols, "121", as our text; so, the "Endnote" was inserted right after the text.
