Insert Clip Art in Word 2010
Edited by Thor, Sid Bedekar, Eng, Inukshuk
Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, I am going to show you how to insert clip art to a Microsoft 2010 Word Document. First, will click on the insert tab at the top.
Steps
1
2
Here we have a variety of clip art that we can insert into a document
.
So we are going to search for something. This book is called "Revenge of the Killer Spatulas" - not written by me, unfortunately...I wish I had. So maybe we need to search for "Spatula". Type in "Spatula".
3
And there we have a nice lovely plastic spatula there
.
I must admit I prefer a nice wooden spatula personally. And then you can see a variety of spatulas. I am going to click on this spatula.
4
It is not wood, but you know, times are hard
.
Here is a spatula - a useless spatula with a hole in it. Massive hole - useless.
5
That is probably not a spatula. It might be a spatula, but I'm not here to judge. That is a very nice spatula. That is a lovely array of spatulas, let's take that one in there.
6
And when you finish with clip art, you can close exit
.
7
Now we have a variety of images of spatulas to really give some color
.
Really give some different perspective to the article, not just text but also to use something visual as well. If you are making a presentation or you are designing a book or anything really, then clip art is the way forward. So here we have some spatulas. We can obviously make them bigger.
8
Really increase the size of that spatula
.
We can rotate the spatula.
9
And we can also crop it as well if we want to remove any parts of it that we do not want
.
We can crop it.
10
So you can see here that we can crop
.
This is if we want to make it smaller, we can crop it there.
11
Just a little bit - crop that bit. okay?
12
So we can crop that, and crop okay
?
13
You can also change the ratio but I think that is enough
.
14
The actual whole dimensions of the box as you can see now, dimensions have changed, the image is still the same because it is a white background, and we can move this spatula around.
15
16
Where are the big spatulas, the big boy spatulas
.
So there we go, so perhaps we only wanted one of them. Perhaps if you had an array of spatulas like this, you might think - this one in the middle - or maybe this one in the end - I do not know maybe this one, maybe this spatula. Maybe this spatula does not need to be there does it?
17
So, what we can do is, we click on crop
.
18
We are going to crop this unfortunate spatula out of the picture
.
We are just going to pretend that he never existed. He is out. Like the one in the boy band who no one really likes anymore.
19
He is out - out of the picture. Cropped out a spatula and now you have just got four spatulas. The best four in my opinion.
20
And we can of course increase the size; make it look bigger now that one spatula is missing visually
.
21
Or maybe make it a lot smaller, it is quite a big image
.
22
There we go and you have some images to compliment the text
.
Make it a little bit smaller.
23
Okay, then move it up a little bit, so there we go
.
Now we have a story about spatulas with some actual spatulas. So that has been a video on how to import clip art into a Word, Microsoft Word 2010 Document. If you have any queries or you would like to share any spatula stories, then please, please leave them in the comment section below and you have been watching VisiHow, goodbye.
