Increase Screen Timeout on Lenovo A7000 Smartphone

Steps

    In order to change the screen timeout, we need to access the Settings panel. We can do it by tapping the Settings icon.

    Alternatively, we can swipe down from the top of the home screen. This will show notifications.

    We swipe down from the top again. We'll access the actual settings panel.

    We can tap the gear-shaped icon. A single tap on the gear-shaped icon will launch the "Settings" area.

    In "Settings", we tap the "Display" icon once. The icon is a gold circle with a little gear and the symbol for brightness.

    Once we are in "Display", we need to move down and find the "Sleep" option. "Sleep" says, "After 30 seconds of inactivity".

    We tap "Sleep" to change the option. We can set it from "15 seconds", which will conserve battery power, up to "30 minutes", depending on our own personal preferences and usages. In this video, "30 minutes" is tapped, since the phone is used to create tutorials. We may wish to set a longer timeout than 15 seconds. That is entirely up to us. Once we've set the option, we'll see that "Sleep" will have our selected option. In this video, it will read, "After 30 minutes of inactivity".

    From "Display", we can simply tap the back arrow to go back. We will go out of "Display".
