    In order to manage power consumption, we go to the "Settings" panel
    .
    This can be done by tapping the Settings icon on the home screen of our phone.

    If we do not have the Settings icon, we simply swipe down from the top of the phone
    .
    This will open the notification panel.

    From the notification panel, we tap the gear-shaped Settings icon at the top
    .
    One tap on the gear-shaped Settings icon will bring up the "Settings" panel.

    On the "Settings" panel, we are looking for a purple circle with a map tag
    .
    It is labeled "Location services".

    We tap "Location services" once
    .
    Tapping it once will open up the "Location services" panel. In this video, "Location services" is enabled, as indicated by the blue toggle.

    What we are looking for is to tap on "Mode"
    .
    One tap on "Mode" will allow us to choose which "Location services" mode we would like to have. There are three types to choose:
    • "High accuracy", which uses a combination of GPS, mobile networks, and our wireless network;
    • "Battery saving", which only uses our wireless network and our mobile network;
    • "Device only", which only uses the GPS service of our device.

    To change "Location mode", we simply tap one of the modes

    Once we've tapped the mode, it will be changed.
