    Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and at the bottom, we will see these icons

    In the applications folder, we need to find and press on the Google Settings application
    .
    Mine is located here. The icon is a gray cog with the Google "g" inside and underneath, it says the word "Google Settings". Your Google Settings application may be in a different position in this folder; therefore, you will need to find it and once you have found it, tap on it to enter.

    We need to scroll down almost to the bottom and press on the word "Security" which will open a new menu

    Scroll to the bottom of the menu and we will see the "Improve harmful app detection", "Send unknown apps to Google for better detection"

    Right now, this option is activated because the icon on the right is turquoise.

    If we want to deactivate this option and if we don't want to sent unknown applications to Google, then we can do that by pressing down on the icon

    The icon will turn gray and that means the option has been deactivated.

    If we want to activate the option and we want to send unknown apps to Google for better detection, then we can press down on this icon until it is turquoise again and that means that this option has been activated
