Import a Backup file to your WordPress site

Have you ever logged in to your WordPress site and found that everything you have created suddenly disappeared? Don't worry, you are not alone.     Log in to your WordPress website

    On the left hand side of your Dashboard, go to the "Tools" tab

    After pointing your mouse on the Tools tab, click on the "Import" option

    After you click on the Import option you should be brought to a screen that looks like this

    Once here, click on the option that reads WordPress

    Once you select the WordPress option, you should be brought to a screen that looks like this

    Click on the "Browse" button and locate your backup file within one of your folders

    Select your backup and click "Open"

    Click on "Upload File and Import"

    Once you click on the Upload File and Import option, you should be brought to a screen that looks like this

    Assign posts to an existing user by clicking on the "Dropdown" box and selecting your login username
