Would I do the same procedure if I owned a Galaxy S3 as this one?

Need to put JellyBean on Galaxy S3 from the computer. I have tried: Factory reset. I think it was caused by: Updated to a higher OS than the S3 could handle

It is actually much easier for you. Go to SamMobile and look for your S3 model there. If you can find the Jelly Bean version (4.1 to 4.3.1) for your country and carrier, then download it. If you cannot find it, check the NeedROM Web site for the original Jelly Bean ROM. Then, proceed to follow the instructions from step 2 in our tutorial on how to flash firmware in Samsung Galaxy smartphones.
