I want to know if my boyfriend still has feelings for his ex?
When I first met my boyfriend, we were just friends. He asked me to be in a relationship with him, but I wouldn't because I didn't feel like he was ready. After a while, communication was slim to none with him. Then I find out that he is living with another woman who he claimed was his cousin, but I knew better. I finally asked her and she told me that they were in a relationship. Mind you, me and him were still dealing with each other the whole time. Him and his girlfriend who he was staying with was having problems, so she broke up with him. After that, I decided to get in a relationship with him. On down the line I find out he is talking back to his ex twice. Last summer, and towards the end of the year. He was telling her that he missed her and he still loved her. I left him, but I got back with him. He found out that she really didn't want to be with him like he wanted to be back with her. She told me and him that she didn't want him at separate times. After all of this he thanked me for opening his eyes to the fact that he was trying to get back with someone who didn't care whether he was dead or alive. He assures me that he loves me and only me, but sometimes I question it because of the past history. I wanted to know am I a rebound, or does he really love me? He still has his things at her house too, and the last time I asked him to go get them he told me that she doesn't want to go back there because of the bad memories. Should I stay or leave him? My boyfriend has been running back and forth forth from me to his ex from 2016 to 2017, and he says he doesn't want her anymore, but his stuff is still at her house. I feel like she is holding on to him and vice versa, and I don't want to waste another 3 1/2 years on someone who still has feelings for their ex. I have tried: Last year I asked him to go get his things from her, and he made up an excuse, but I haven't asked since, but I am again, and if he doesn't make an effort to make arrangements to get his things I'm walking away. I don't want her to have a reason to interfere with our lives if she doesn't want him. I think it was caused by: At the time, he wanted stability, and she gave him that. She worked while he stayed home. She even let him drive her car, and I wasn't doing that, so he went where he could get that. I'm not going to take care of a grown man.
