I slept with another whilst still in a relationship with my boyfriend, will he be able to forgive me?

So I dated this guy and I decided to give up my virginity to him because I loved him. But after that, he became harsh, and showed that he did not care about me anymore. So I met this other guy, my current boyfriend, and we dated but I wasn't so sure if he was going to treat me right or he was just passing time. While I was still dating him,6 months later I cheated on him for 8 months and slept with the guy. He found out and I broke up with the guy I cheated with, but he did not find out about us having sex. So we eventually broke up. This year around we got back together, and he kept on asking whether I slept with that guy or not. I kept on denying until there was something that kept on pushing me to tell him the truth. It's been 2 months now and tomorrow is supposed to be our anniversary but it feels as though our relationship is tearing apart, will he be able to forgive me? Right now I can sense that he doesn't trust me and now he doesn't tell me anything. Whenever I call him he hardly speak. He only answers what I ask him. I have tried: I told him everything from the beginning. I tried to apologize but he doesn't buy a word I say. I send him messages and even call him but still. I think it was caused by: My previous relationship, I was hurt badly by my virginity breaker. I think that is what caused me to think that all men are the same
