Hi I want to reset my Android phone password reset without Factory Reset?

Hi I want to reset my Android phone password reset without Factory Reset

If you do not know your phone's password in order to gain access then you will only be stuck with two choices in order to gain entry into your device. On your device, if you insert your password incorrectly multiple times then the device will ask you for your Gmail address and password. If you do not know these two pieces of information then you will need to perform a Hard Reset on your device.

In order to perform a Hard Reset you are going to need to perform these steps below:

1. Power off your device

2. Hold power + volume up key

3. release buttons after you reach the boot menu

4. On the boot menu use the volume keys to highlight Factory Reset/wipe

5. After resetting data choose the option to reboot your device

Your device will now be Factory Reset.

I forgot my Android password, and I need to reset it. Can you help me?

Sony Xperia dual c2004 Android Phone Password forgotten. I want to retrieve password without losing data.

For you to reset the password/pattern and not delete data, you will need to provide the Gmail account and password you used to connect to Google Play store. You also need to be connected via WiFi or data connection to be able to reset your password/pattern. If not, the only way to be able to use your phone is by doing a Factory Reset. You will have to do the following:

  • turn off the phone.
  • Press and hold the power button and volume up for a few seconds.
  • Choose wipe data/Factory Reset.
  • Select yes--delete all user data.
  • Choose reboot now.

NOTE: This will delete all apps and data on your phone.

My close friend forgot her Samsung S7 pattern and it won't factory reset. What should she do?

I'm currently trying to help my friend figure out how to get into her Samsung Galaxy S7, she has the fingerprint but that doesn't always work and it is really scaring her. She can't reset the pattern, without knowing the pattern. She also can't factory reset her phone without knowing the pattern, even through the shutdown and press volume key thing. All help would be appreciated. Also, do you know if she could take it to Verizon and they would fix it? The factory reset method doesn't work for her. Her phone is a newer model and the methods are inaccurate. I have tried: The shutdown and volume up method, and the Android manager password retriever. I think it was caused by: She forgot her pattern password on her phone and now cannot get in

If she ever created a Samsung Account and associated the S7 with it, she can use that to hard reset her device remotely. Even with a hard reset, she will still need to know her Google Account that she used with the S7 to use it again or bypass the Google FRP.
