I got this Samsung Galaxy S7 from this guy Josh off of Craigslist and told me that I just need to set it up to my WiFi then take it to a phone service provider and I was good to go. When I got home, I set it up to my WiFi, but then the phone said I need to provide an email that was last used. I bought the phone from the guy and I talked to him through email and he told me to meet him at the Walmart near him so I have no idea where the man lives and have no way to contact him, so I figured there have to be some way to reset the phone to where it will be brand new

Bypass the Google FRP. Many people are not aware that they need to remove the Google Account before they hard reset a phone for resale. Lost my Gmail password, does not recognize any of my emails I used to sync the phone when I bought it. First, log in to the Google Account on the PC to see if your 2 Step Verification is enabled and stopping you from using the Google Account on the device. Second, if you hard reset the phone you can bypass the Google FRP and gain access within about 15 minutes. This is way better than 72 hours!

When Sony Theft Protection goes into lockdown, the only way to disable it would be to use the Google Account last synced to the device. You could check the Google Account for 2 step verification. If this is not preventing you then hard reset the device and use this YouTube Tutorial to bypass Sony Theft Protection's Google FRP.

Option 1: Factory reset your phone and then bypass Google using this YouTube Tutorial by Rootjunky. Option 2: From a PC, login to Samsung's Find My Mobile. You can use this to remotely unlock your device. You would have had to set up a Samsung account on the device previously.

If the WiFi is not enabled then your Google Account will not work. You will have to hard reset the device and then bypass the Google FRP if the phone has a Lollipop or marshmallow Android OS.

Use Google Accounts Recovery. Then if you can get the email ID back it may jog your memory for what the password is. Beyond that, you can bypass Google FRP. Simply search that term and the specific device name. More and more YouTube videos are coming out of ways to bypass the Google FRP.
