S5 Fingerprint settings won't allow lock screen change or un-register print?

My lock screen is currently set to fingerprint. It works great as well as the backup password. However I wanted to change it back to normal or another mode but it will not allow me to do so.. The areas in the screen lock to just swipe change are greyed out with "Turned off by administrator/encrypt policy or credential account. I get the same message when I try to un-register the fingerprint in the Fingerprint scanner settings. Factory Reset does not help
