Hard reset your Android phone or tablet when you forget the passcode or lock pattern

I bought a phone, and it is reset, but now it is asking me for the Google account that was synced on the phone before I bought it?

Its an Alcatel one touch is there any way I can take that off, it is reset but has a pop up that says protect your phone and won't let me move forward unless I put in the email that was synced with the phone before I bought it, Help me, please! I have tried: Resetting it over and over again & Google. I think it was caused by: ?!

It is possible that there is an old SIM card in the phone that still has information relating to the previous owner on it, including Android device protection that prevents anyone from not knowing the old Google password that it was originally set up with from breaking into the phone. The solution is to open the back of the phone and then remove the old SIM card. Put the phone through another hard reset replace it with a new one. Under settings go to Google and add an email account. Make this your primary email account for accessing your Android phone in the future.

Trying to hard rest my extreme play tab v2 but don't know what Google account is being used?

I've done everything I could think of and have seen to do, to try and hard reset my tablet but nothing is working .. what can I do ? My niece gave me this tablet but cannot remember her password for it. And then she also doesn't know what Google account is being used for it.. The person who bought it for her set it up and she's not sure if he used her Gmail or his and she is no longer to speak with that person because of reasons.. so she wouldn't be able to ask him what one is being used or for his information. I've tried everything I've seen in this article and nothing is working? I have tried: Pushing and holding all the bottoms down that was said to do. And none of them work it just keeps turning on and off. I think it was caused by: I'm not sure just want to be able to get into the tablet ..
