My school has a play called Aladdin and I want to take the role of princess Jasmine?
Well I have a great singing voice but my voice goes to another tune sometimes. I basically want to know how to keep my voice in the same level as to when I start singing.
Switching from your comfortable register to another can be arduous, as it includes different amount of airflow while keeping it steady. You will have to switch to falsetto, most likely, to be able to sing Jasmine; and tips on how to maintain good singing level while going high in singing are available in our tutorial at https://visihow.com/Sing_Falsetto_and_in_Full_Voice. Also, do not forget to work on the emotional aspect, which will assist you in maintaining the same singing level as before: https://visihow.com/Show_Emotion_While_Singing.
These combined, be sure to lower your air compression (exhaling should be "weaker") when you are going for higher notes, as less air is needed to vibrate the vocal cords to produce the same volume of sound. Work on holding your breath with your diaphragm and abdomen, and release it only in quantities required for Jasmine's voice. Sing only Jasmine's part until you think that it is getting better. Then, record yourself. Listen to it and compare it to Aladdin's voice. If you think that Jasmine's voice is too airy, you will have to work on including your chest voice along with the head voice when going to falsetto notes.
I want to sing how would I, and even have a bet on next 2 months?
