We are hosting a farewell lunch for former faculty members

Faculty members already left, we didn't have the opportunity to do it immediately. We are inviting them back for a farewell lunch. How do I phrase the invitation letter, regards. I have tried: This is to kindly invite you to a farewell lunch on Wednesday 19th October 2016 from 1:00PM, at the learning resource center cafeteria.
