Why are all my chickenpox on my face pitted?

Chickenpox rashes have many lesions and form at different stages. Chickenpox scars are usually atrophic or pitted because of the small, fluid or pus-filled blisters on the skin which make the chickenpox scars on your face to appear pitted or sunken. The small, fluid filled blisters (vesicles) will further develop into pus-filled blisters (pustules) then dry up or crust over. The formation of the sunken or pitted chickenpox scars on you face solely depends on how you manage your chickenpox. The pitting occurs because your body kills all the cells infected with Chickenpox. Your body then disposes of the dead cells. Chickenpox antiviral medicines will efficiently help in decreasing the severity of the chickenpox infection which also lessen the formation of pitted chickenpox scars on your face. The rationale behind it is that when you have a lesser viral infection on your body, your immune system can efficiently work in fighting off the infection and lessen the formation of the pus-filled blisters. The lesser the blister formation on the skin, the faster your skin's ability to regenerate. Another factor is your diet. There are fruits that have very potent antiviral properties like the papaya. Eating fruits that have antiviral properties will also help in reducing the formation of pitted scars caused by chickenpox. In regards to your query, all your chickenpox scars are pitted on your face primarily because you did not properly take any preventive and medical measures during your chickenpox period which caused your chickenpox viral infection to progress at full strength causing pitted scars.

Are joint pain and body pain common during chickenpox?

My husband had chickenpox last month, It was severe and it got cured now. How to get rid of the dark spots on my face especially in nose area?

Had a big dark spot in my nose area and in my cheek. How can this be removed besides I'm an oily type skin and always got pimples even I am 37 years old. Please help me. Pimple scars are all over my face and added by this dark spot problem. Thank you for your time..

Oily skin is a sign of a higher acidic level present. You need to balance the PH levels of your skin before you can properly heal the scar damage. Twice a week cleanse your skin with a paste of equal amounts baking soda and water. Scrub in a circular motion and rinse with lukewarm water. Avoid bar face soap. It is tempting to use bar soap as immediately your skin no longer feels oily, however, in the long run, your skin will start to produce more oil to make up for the dryness. Instead, choose a face wash that has a balanced moisturizing result. Use Apple Cider Vinegar daily as a toner which will help with your PH and also starts to diminish your scars because of the acidic properties of the vinegar. Nightly apply Vitamin E and Cocoa Butter to your scars before bed.

Why did skin color change to very dry?

After chickenpox my baby 5 years old, had her skin darken, with dry, black spots, a large amount of hair growth, black circles around the eye. I have tried: I applied/massage olive, almond, dry fruit mixed oil before bath, every day to my child.. I think it was caused by: Worrying about skin color dryness

Chickenpox wages a war on a child's skin basically. Your child's skin has been depleted from the battle and will need time to recover. Continue what you are doing with the oil massage as well as encourage her to drink water. Oatmeal can be ground up into a powdered form and added to her bath water to help soothe and hydrate her skin. Make sure the baths are lukewarm and hot water for long periods of time dries out the skin as well. You can add a little almond oil to the oatmeal bath water as well which will help soothe as well as hydrate.
