How to open cso file with PSP emulator?

It doesn't play but loads

If the game file that you have downloaded is on CSO file. You just need to place the file to the folder where all your game resides. I mean to say, transfer it to your game archive for the PPSSPP emulator.

Once you have it saved to your folder, launch the PPSSPP program on your computer then go to the Games tab. You should be able to see there a button for Browse, then a pop up on your screen will be shown and select the folder where you have the CSO files saved. Once done that, the game list should refresh the screen and it should show the game on screen.

Note: If you still have it on .rar format, you need to extract the file and copy the one that has been extracted to place it where all your games are.

Which PSP emulator are you using? Not all emulators will support the cso, compressed ISO format. If possible, try to back up the original game in ISO format and run it with the emulator again.

If you are using the PPSSPP emulator, know that not all games are currently playable. For a list of playable games with that emulator, you can check out their forum site here:

http://forums.ppsspp.org/forumdisplay.php?fid=13

Again, these emulators are a work in progress and not all games will be playable. Check the list and see if your game is among the the playable ones.
