How can I set my default download location to my SD card? I'm using Samsung Galaxy Y GT-S5360?
I followed the tutorial here where from the internet settings I can change my download location. But under content settings it already says that my download location is on the memory card, and still whenever I download something it says I have low storage on my device. My SD card is actually empty
Use the process to perform a hard reset but instead of Wipe Data, choose Clear Cache Partition. This should now allow you to use the SD card. Use Kies on a regular basis to save your data and keep photos and other items that you do not want to delete such as videos.

I've tried several different apps but nothing seems to work on using the SD card as default storage for my rooted Note3 running Darklords Samsung S6
Update to a newer version of the Darklords OS. This was a problem with that system that they have since corrected in newer versions.
How to make my SD card the default storage of my Samsung Core 2 device?
Because I can't download any more apps
This will still not solve your problem because the storage path still goes to internal memory for most of the apps. Clear your cache partition as mentioned above. Also, implement either a cloud storage or use Kies to transfer your images and videos that you want to keep. You will want to install an app like CCleaner to regularly free up space on your phone by removing cached data. For example, in the past 12 days since I last used CCleaner on my phone I cleaned 800 Mbs on my phone of useless stuff like cache from apps such as Google Maps.
Call logs and SMS also take up a large amount of space over time. There is no reason to save call logs for longer than one month so regularly clear those out as well as delete messages that are not super important. Your friend's LOL! Text reply is taking up space on your phone.
How to make my SD card the default for my Galaxy S5 phone?
OK, I have a Galaxy S5, and I read the article on here to make the SD card the primary default on the internet app. But does that make the SD card the default for everything like music and play store too?
To save apps and music to your SD card, you may have to customize your Google settings. If your default storage location were set to your external SD card, you would need to change the default location to internal and then reboot your phone. Once rebooted, open your phone again, and you should be able to access the storage option in the Google music and change it to default save to the external SD card. Reboot one more time, and your downloaded music should be transferred to the SD card automatically.
If this does not work automatically, then you might have to move your music and music apps to the SD card manually. Go into settings, select the apps or file you want to move and then select Move to SD. You can also use the Select feature move several apps or music files to your SD card at once.
Unable to use SD micro card on samsungJ7?
I brought new Samsung J7, Also brought 64 GB SD card. SD card got detected but when moving my external apps like app Backup and Restore, Shareit SD card not creating default directory. Using Shareit version on Galaxy grand and its giving an option to use SD card for file saving but same Shareit version not giving me an option for SD card.
The Samsung J7 supports the FAT and the exFAT file systems for memory cards. If you are looking under My Files for the SD card folders, they should be there or the SD card you purchases is not supported by the J7. Especially since it works on the Galaxy Grand.
How to make memory card default place to save new pictures and social media (snap chat) files?

Go into My Files. There will be a section for Photos. SnapChat should be there. Select the ones that you want to save from now on to the SD card.

You find My Files in your app list. Go into your apps and swipe across to the M section if your apps are alphabetical. It will look like a gold/yellow folder.
I just want to know if I can increase the internal mem. card on the gs5? I know how to move things?
I'm running out of internal storage but have plenty of external. But internally, I can't download upgrades apps because I have no space and there's nothing left I can move. Isn't' there a bigger internal chip I can get?? Because your article shows how to move etc. to gain space. I KNOW HOW TO DO THAT
