I have a Fat32 formatted USB drive that appears empty on my PC?

The Fat32 USB drive opens and operates great on MAC OS; however, it appears empty when I plug it into my PC? How do I access the QuickTime movies that I know are on the USB drive?. I have tried: I tried uninstalling my USB drivers and then re-installing. I've tried the classic reboot the computer. Same result. USB Drive opens up, but it appears empty.. I think it was caused by: I think there appears to be some incompatibility between Windows 10 and Mac OS.

Your Mac may have journaled the USB. Unfortunately to fix this, you would have to wipe out the USB drive so back it up on your Mac first. You also will need to update the drivers on the USB to be compatible for Windows 10.

My flash drive is not displaying it's content again?

I own a working pen drive and took it to a friend's place to copy movies and some programs as well, I came back to copy but my pen drive refused to show up. Yet, the computer has detected.

You probably did not eject it properly. Your drive could have also tripped the safety function to disable the CMOS after you plugged it into a friends computer. The movie you transferred could have come with a virus. Check Properties of the thumb drive on your PC and check enabled if it says disabled in CMOS. Unplug the thumb drive and clear out any previous installations and try installing the drivers fresh as stated in an above answer. Make sure that your friends computer did not assign the thumb drive to a different drive on the PC. For instance, you had it assigned to G yet your friend's PC assigned it to F.

Why won't my computer recognize my USB for longer than 30 seconds?

When I insert my USB into my laptop, it either won't recognize the USB (only comes up with the USB name, drive and FAT32) or recognizes it for less than a minute, with all my files, but won't stay recognized long enough for me to copy or dump all my data somewhere else. The problem with the USB, because I've tried it in four computers and every one of them didn't recognize it. When I try to check my USB properties (step 4), an error message comes up:

"The disk check could not be performed because Windows can't access the disk. I am not an administrator user and so cannot install any antivirus software. Does this mean I can't fix the problem? I have tried: I have tried putting the USB into a Windows 10 laptop, a Windows XP desktop, and another laptop which generally registers hardware that's not registered by other computers in our house. None of them recognized the USB for longer than a minute. I think it was caused by: Recently my USB was in the laptop and may have got bent when the laptop was moved, but seemed fine when I opened folders in it. This malfunction is completely unexpected.

I can't find 'accessories' on the laptop to check the setting?

I am following the directions on the q&a page, but, can't find 'accessories' in my settings. I put in my USB memory stick, opened the file and it comes up blank. I checked it on my other computer (mac), and it opens with the file that is on the stick. I am trying to follow the directions on VisiHow, but, cannot find the accessories option under settings to move on to step 4. I have tried: I have tried memory stick on another computer. It worked there but not on the laptop that I need it to work on. I think it was caused by: No idea how this problem happened and it has never happened before.

Rather than looking for accessories (as your version of Windows may no longer have it), type "CMD" into the search bar when you click the windows start icon. Follow the rest of the steps once you've opened the command prompt.
