How to factory reset an ez tab bhk-5128 my daughter forgot the password?

My daughter forgot her password, I have tried to reset the tablet but the method of holding the power button and volume button isn't working. The tablet is an ez tab bhk-5128. I'm doing it step by step but it just keeps turning on. The steps in the article are not working at all. Every time I let go of the button it just returns to the locked screen. That method is not working. I have tried: Holding the power button and volume up button and releasing the power button when the screen turns on.
