You may not be able to add the WiFi settings manually, but instead change your wireless settings from WEP to WPA or the WP2, WPA/WPA2. Simply go to your WiFi settings on phone and right at the bottom, simply select add the network manually.

WPS Pin or Push and connect

Connecting to the WiFi network using WPS Pin and Push and connect, depends from the settings you have in your wireless router. If you select the Push and connect to the network. You need to look for the button on your router itself, which will give you two minutes only before it timeout. Once it got timeout, simply do the same steps as connecting to the WiFi network. For connecting using a Pin, your phone will ask for a wireless Pin that you can get it from your wireless router settings. Simply use a computer then access the router settings then select the WPS wizard and select enters a Pin then the router will generate a pin for your device to connect.

Questions and Answers

I am trying to connect my Samsung Galaxy note 10.1 to a client's router but do not know the password so I am trying to use the button on the side?

I have tried the button and it is not working. I have tried: Pushing the button clicking on the router ID and tried looking up the IP address to. I think it was caused by: I'm not sure

You will need to know the WiFi password on the router. The client must know it, he or she can have it in his agreement papers, or he or she can call up his Internet service provider and find out the password. If he or she set it up and forgot it, then he or she should reset the router and set the network up a new, including the WiFi password.

I do not know how to connect using WPS I suck at this. I added a range extender today and it changed everything?
