After a few seconds, your Samsung phone should be able to access your home network and WiFi internet.
Other ways to connect to your home WiFi network
Aside from selecting a wireless network on your mobile phone. You can also add the network manually or use a WPS Pin to connect to your WiFi network. You can also connect using Push and connect to the home network.
Adding network manually
Adding the network manually is case sensitive. In order for you to connect to the network by adding it manually, you need to have the following information:
- 3Passphrase or WiFi password
Adding the network manually requires all those information before you can connect to the network and you need to type the SSID and password on how you see it. Meaning, if there are upper case or special characterization, you need to type them accordingly. In case that you have WEP type of security. You may not be able to add the WiFi settings manually, but instead change your wireless settings from WEP to WPA or the WP2, WPA/WPA2. Simply go to your WiFi settings on phone and right at the bottom, simply select add the network manually.
WPS Pin or Push and connect
Connecting to the WiFi network using WPS Pin and Push and connect, depends from the settings you have in your wireless router. This feature is only available with WPA2 security and WPS capable wireless routers. If you do not have the security set as what mentioned above. You do not need to perform this action on your mobile phone. Check below:
- 1Go to Settings
- 2Go to WiFi and turn on
- 3Select your network and WPS
If you select the Push and connect to the network. You need to look for the button on your router itself, which will give you two minutes only before it timeout. Once it got timeout, simply do the same steps as connecting to the WiFi network. For connecting using a Pin, your phone will ask for a wireless Pin that you can get it from your wireless router settings. Simply use a computer then access the router settings then select the WPS wizard and select enters a Pin then the router will generate a pin for your device to connect.

I have tried the button and it is not working. I have tried: Pushing the button clicking on the router ID and tried looking up the IP address to. I think it was caused by: I'm not sure
You will need to know the WiFi password on the router. The client must know it, he or she can have it in his agreement papers, or he or she can call up his Internet service provider and find out the password. If he or she set it up and forgot it, then he or she should reset the router and set the network up a new, including the WiFi password.
I do not know how to connect using WPS I suck at this. I added a range extender today and it changed everything?
