How do I wirelessly connect my Galaxy tab 3 to my Samsung TV so that I see what appears on my Tablet on my TV?

Do I have to use an app or does the feature come with the Tablet

For full mirroring of your tab's screen on your TV (with an HDMI port), you will need to purchase an additional adapter called MHL to HDMI adapter. This adapter is only compatible with the Tab 3 series 8 inch and 10 inch versions but not the 7 inch. You can find the adapter here:

http://www.amazon.com/Cybertech-Micro-Adapter-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B00HN1UKIG

For viewing/streaming content that's on your tab to your TV, you can use the Chromecast adapter found here:

http://www.google.com/intl/en-us/chrome/devices/chromecast/

Chromecast will allow you to stream your Tablet's content through apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO GO, etc.

How to connect my Samsung Galaxy tab to my TV

The simplest way to do with will be for you to connect your Tablet to your TV using the HDMI cord, but this will depend on the type of TV you have because not all of the TVs accept this type of connection regardless if they have an HDMI port.

1. Ensure the phone and TV are connected to the same wireless network

2. From the home screen press the menu button

3. Select AllShare Play

4. Select which media file you want to play, choose from videos, music, and photos

5. Once the media file is selected, choose an applicable smart TV from your network.

I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. I had previously purchased a Rocketfish adapter for my Samsung Galaxy Mega and it worked fine?

It won't work on the Tab 4 even using the supplied adapter. I think the Tab 4 is not MHL compatible. Could you shed some light on this.

How can I connect my Samsung Tab 4 to my TV to watch videos?

I want to play videos from my Samsung Tab 4 to my TV. I can't use the USB on my TV cause it doesn't recognize it. I bought an adapter that connects to the charger port then has HDMI on other side but it doesn't seem to recognize my device either

Can I connect the Samsung tab 3 to my TV?

Can the Samsung Galaxy tab 3 be used to get HBO go from the tab to the TV

You have 2 options to get your tab 3 to stream to your TV. First, if you have either the 8 inch or 10 inch tab 3, you can use Samsung's MHL to HDMI adapter to connect to your TV (if it has an HDMI port). Check out the adapter here:

A second method you can try is by using Google's Chromecast adapter. Again, you will need a TV with an available HDMI port for this to work. Among the many apps supported by Chromecast, HBO Go is among them. You can check out the apps list in addition to HBO GO here:
