How do I get the car mode to stop playing the pre-loaded Samsung music every time car mode is activated?

When I start my car, the car mode starts on my Galaxy S5, which is fine, but then it starts playing the pre-loaded generic Samsung music through the stereo. I don't mind the car mode itself, but the music thing is super annoying!

This is a function of the Car Mode, where you can actually set your favorite songs, or other music from your phone, that you'd like to have playing while you drive. Please reference the first question in this Q&A, and follow the link to our full guide on the Car Mode features for more information on how to control this feature.

How can I disable the texting pop up box on my car when I receive a text message (for sync does not have an option to disable this, it is the phone's responsibility according to them)?

How can I disable the texting pop up box on my car when I receive a text message (for sync does not have an option to disable this, it is the phone's responsibility according to them). I can't seem to find the proper option. There is a car mode for this phone but it isn't ever turned on in the first place. Just wondering if there is a button that turns off all texting notifications for the car. Thanks!
