How do I add Allowed devices on my S4?
When I try to add a device the S4 asks for device name (where do I find the device name) and MAC address, again, where do I find that? can't I just set it up for "all" devices?
The device name is nothing set to the device - this is just the name you're choosing to assign to it in your network. With a Windows PC, you can find the MAC address by clicking the start button, typing cmd and hitting enter, and then entering "ipconfig/all" (no quotations) and hitting enter.
You should be able to disable MAC filtering by tapping the hotspot name and then tapping "Allow all devices." With that selected, any device with the correct password entered will be able to hop online with your hotspot.

When connecting S4 to be used as a WiFi hotspot my computer continues to check network connections in a do loop. then finally gives up and recommends I seek net based help. Hence your service is requested. If there is a $$ fee for said service please advise charges before continuing.. Thank you. Larry Ryan.
