Recover Android Device in case of Forgot password/pattern unlock an Android device

My Sony EI phone has a screen lock pin that I did not setup. It just appeared and I have tried the pin codes that I would have used but without success. Do you have any advice on how can I bypass this pin lock please?

Try typing in NULL. This may work. During your attempts at pins you should have seen Forgot Password so that you could use your Google Account to login.
