How To Set Up Philips Hue Lighting

If you want to be able to control the lighting in your home theater without getting up from your seat, you'll want to try out Philips Hue. They offer a starter kit that contains 2 bulbs and a bridge. Once you screw the bulbs into existing sockets in your home theater, you will have the control not only of the color of lighting, but you can also replicate the movie feel by dimming and brightening the lights any time you want.

   Take the bulbs out of your starter kit and screw them into existing lighting sockets in your home theater.

   Plug in

   Plug your Philips Hue Bridge into an electrical outlet. Once it powers up, connect the bridge to your router using the network cable that is provided. Wait for all 3 lights on the bridge to light up.

   Download the latest app from the Google Play store or App Store. Start up your app, connect to your bridge and search for your lights.
