This is an iPhone app that was created by VIZIO to control all the new 2016 VIZIO SmartCast™ products. This will not work with the older VIZIO TVs. Besides the remote control functionality, you can stream TV shows and movies as well as controlling VIZIO sound bars and speakers.

To use this app, your phone must have a built-in IR blaster. Tested and compatible with Galaxy S4, S4 mini, S5, 10.1, Active, Zoom, Note3, Note 8.0, Tab, HTC and LG phones greater than 4.4.2. There are two modes for this app, one being the compact size for the Galaxy S series mini and the expanded mode for phones and tablets with at least a 5-inch screen.
