I keep getting an error message that says my phone and TV are not on the same WiFi?
Keep getting an error message that says my phone and TV are not on the same WiFi. I didn't even know I had more than one WiFi in my house??? How do I find out what the two WiFi's are and get them on the same one?
There are a couple possibilities here concerning the smartphone. You may be connecting to another WiFi signal of a neighbor that you once visited and logged into their network while you were there. Another possibility is that someone in your house has a hotspot turned on from their mobile phone that you once logged into. The other more remote possibility is that you have 2 different signals coming from your router, one being the normal and the other coming from the higher 5.8 frequency. Remember that your smartphone is designed to connect to the strongest known network signal.

Phone cannot find TV through WiFi. Does the TV's WiFi function turn off while using HDMI Connections?
Our remote is broken. So I downloaded the smart view app to connect my phone with the TV. I can power the TV on with my gaming console. After powering up and displaying console game imagery, I opened Smart View on my phone and tried to connect to my TV. But the app says there is no TV to connect to. I know the TV is connected to my WiFi because we were watching Netflix on it yesterday. Does the TV disconnect from the WiFi while using HDMI connections? TV is on and being used to display console game play.
