   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the top right-hand side Power button and then scrolling up one time to get to the home screen

   We do have a Facebook icon on our home screen

   It's a blue box with a white letter "f" inside of it.

   If there's no Facebook icon located on the home screen, access Facebook through the Apps menu

   The icon for the Apps menu is located on the lower right-hand corner of the home screen. It's a gray box with white squares inside.

   For now, let's open Facebook directly from the home screen by tapping one time on the Facebook icon

   If there's a story on the timeline that we don't want to see, tap on the down arrow in gray, in the upper right-hand corner of each post

   Tap on that down arrow one time.

   Next, press "Hide post", which will hide this post from the News Feed

   Tap on that button one time and now we can see that the post has been hidden from the News Feed.
