Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to hide files and folders on Windows 8 computers. We have two files here on our desktop. The first one is "VisiHow.txt" and the second one is the folder called "VisiHow". Let's hide both of them.

   Right-click on one of the icons

   Let's make "VisiHow.txt" disappear in this example. We will right-click on the icon.

   Notice that the layout of the options for the folder is a bit different than it was for the text file. "Hidden" is near the bottom, and clicking the box will add a checkmark.
