We are looking for this option, which says "Hide declined events"
    .
Right now, there is a blue check mark in this box, indicating that this option is activated. Any events that we have been invited to and declined through the Calendar application, will be hidden from view. We will no longer be able to see them. However, if we turn this option off and deactivate it, we will still be able to see our declined events. This can be quite useful, especially if we've declined an event because we didn't think we'd be available, but became available. We could still change our mind, and still be notified about this event. It can be quite useful, then.

If we wanted to turn this option on or off, just press down on the box
    .
When the check has disappeared, the option is no longer activated. Declined events will not be hidden.

If we press down on the box again, and add a blue check to the box, we will activate the option
    .
Now, declined events will be hidden from view in the Calendar application.
